Snowflake Method
I had forgotten how much I love to brainstorm and plot out new novel ideas. I took a break from fiction (that's a story for another post), and now, I'm jumping back in with both feet.
Right now, I'm making my way through Randy Ingermanson's snowflake method. I forgot how exciting it is to come up with an amazing idea for a third disaster. I couldn't remember what it feels like when my protagonist reveals something about herself that had never crossed my mind. I'm rediscovering the stage when I'm jotting down dialogue and scene ideas on scraps of paper throughout the day.
Needless to say, I'm extremely excited to be writing. God works in some awesome ways. He's so good!

This is such a great method. I don't use every step, but definitely start there. And I love plotting too. It's amazing where these characters can take you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI really need to get this book. Heard so much great stuff about it.
