Give a Goat for Christmas

I’m a huge fan of Compassion International. It’s an awesome organization that helps children all around the world.

If you’re still looking for gifts for those difficult–to-buy-for people in your life, consider giving them the gift of giving!

Huh?

It’s simple. Go to the Compassion on-line catalog and choose a gift like a farm animal, clean drinking water, medical treatment, food supplies, mosquito nets, etc. Your gift will provide that item to a needy child in the name of whomever you choose. You will receive a gift card to personalize for the recipient of your gift. Each card includes a message explaining how the gift will make a difference for a child in need.

What could be better than that? If you haven’t gotten me a Christmas present yet, I’d love a mosquito net.

  3. Awesome! Love the picture too, as well as the idea. World Vision does this as well. So important to remember to give to others who have so little, especially at this time of year. Thanks Julie!

  6. I love Compassion International too.

My friend got her grandma--a lovely woman who is very difficult to buy for--(what do get a 100 year old woman anyway?) a goat for a family in another country. She loved it!

  7. I LOVE Compassion International!! I sponsored a boy from his 8th year through to his graduation. It was SUCH a great experience. It's totally a worthy cause to donate too! Great post, Julie!
