In honor of Valentine's Day, I've decided to do a surprise giveaway. One commenter will win a copy of
Canyon Walls and
Canyon Crossing. Stop by my
Facebook page and comment for another chance to win. I'll draw the winner on Wednesday afternoon. And don't forget to give all those special people in your life an extra hug and an extra "I love you" today.
How are you celebrating Valentine's Day?
Hubby and I just suprised each other with a few token gifts which were fun. Tonight we're going out to dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteFun! Enjoy dinner. We're ordering dinner from our favorite place to avoid the craziness of eating out on Valentine's Day.
DeleteI was going to go the nursing home to visit my folks and join in the nursing home Valentine's party. However, the Young One woke up feeling punk so I maybe be spending Valentine's Day in the doctor's office.
ReplyDeleteAw! That's no fun. Hope the Young One feels better soon!
DeleteMy hubby and I have been celebrating for days. We had dinner out on Friday. On Saturday we took at walk on my favorite hiking trail, where I'd hung hearts on some of the shrubs beforehand as a surprise for him. This morning we exchanged gifts before he left for work. I got a lovely locket. He got car-washing supplies, which elicited a genuine smile. He thought I'd gotten him candy but was delighted to find more manly gifts in the bag. After 24 years of marriage, I'm learning. =)
ReplyDeleteNice! I love that you've made it Valentine's week! I hope you're going to do something awesome for your 25th anniversary.
DeleteYay! Giveaway! Happy Valentine's Day, Julie! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you too. I hope it's awesome!
DeleteHope I win!
ReplyDeleteI should have mentioned that if the book is dedicated to you and/or you live in the same house as the author, you're not qualified to enter. Happy Valentine's Day, Kevin. :)
DeleteToo cute
DeleteNot really fair, but rules is rules.
DeleteMy husband and I celebrated last night (he works late tonight) by going to our favorite restaurant, no kids, just us, and talking for over two hours. It was blissful.
ReplyDeleteHappy valentines day, Julie!
I gave my hubby a box of his favorite candy.:)
ReplyDeleteGenerous giveaway; thanks for the opportunity! Happy Valentine's day to you, too. Hubby and I have a date on the books pretty soon to celebrate. :)
ReplyDeleteMy huz and I are doing a dinner date, and eating chocolate.
ReplyDeleteOh wow:) Awesome prize:)) Hope your Valentine's Day is great!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun surprise, Julie! :) We celebrated V-Day and our anniversary last weekend with a date night. Hope you have a Happy Valentine's!
ReplyDeleteFun giveaway! I got a lovely, handwritten letter from my husband this morning. We had to cancel our Valentines dinner reservations because of sick kiddos. So we'll all just curl up on the couch tonight and watch a movie :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, it's not afternoon yet! Enter me!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe had a great steak dinner here at home. We learned early on in our marriage that it wasn't worth fighting the crowds to go out to eat on Valentine's day. So we usually get take out or do a nice dinner with the family at home.
ReplyDeleteSorry to have missed this! :( Hope you're doing well!
