How can I pray for your writing?

On Thursday a group of women at my church agreed to pray for my writing. It gives me such confidence knowing they're lifting me up in prayer.

Throughout the next week, I want to pray for you.

So tell me, how can I pray for your writing or your work this week?

  1. Pray others see the value of it being read. And by others I can't be specific, but God knows. ;)

  2. I think that's amazing about the women wanting to pray for your writing! And I think you're amazing for offering it out to us. (I'll be praying for you too.)

  3. That it will touch the women who pick it up. That whereever it grows or where it goes, it will always be about God, not me or anything I've done. There is a special promise in place for this first book, I want God to use it for his will.

  6. You're very kind and thoughtful, Julie. I would ask that you pray for me to finish my edits on time and that I do what's necessary to enhance the story. I'll pray for your writing too.

  8. What a beautiful question to ask. And how awesome you have that kind of support, Julie.

My constant prayer right now is for balance. And also for open eyes as I work through edits, so I can clearly see the things that need tweaking.

  10. Hi Julie,

What a lovely idea! I would ask prayers for the editor who is reading our final entries right now that she let God guide her in her decisions!

    Thanks.

  13. Julie, this is such a great idea. I'll be praying for you. I would ask for prayers for my focus as I switch sub-genres that I do, and that God will direct my path in this.

  14. Julie, so nice of you to pray for writers, thank you. I am a new author, who never even wanted to be an author...but God. I am working on my next book which is totally different from the first one. Asking God/Holy Spirit to help me translate the message the way He wants me to give it to others. Praying for you also-blessings to you.

  15. Julie, I'd really love for prayer for another book contract! I haven't had one in years! I'm not upset about it, but, it would just be nice to have one, ya know? I'll pray for you and you pray for me...deal?

    1. Deal! I definitely will, Cecelia. I can relate to where you're coming from. I've had three Heartsongs published, but with the changes, I have no idea when the next contract is coming.
