I went...but only because a friend was coming over to run with me. :P And I'm not really a runner, just someone trying to lose a few pounds. I'm desperate, what can I say?
My first coherent thought was, "I hate that kid!" Sad, I know...but let me explain. My son crawled into bed with me at 5:30 this morning and asked in my sleeping ear if "beach was a bad word, because so-and-so (from school) says beach is a bad word." We've had many other issues from so-and-so before this one and I'm really starting to not like him. Oh, the joys of public school...or bad parenting. ;)
Ooh, somehow I missed this on Wednesday! But I can tell you what I first thought when I woke up today--it's my birthday! Hehehe...I sound like a little kid. But I'm just being honest. That's what I thought...followed quickly by, "Yay, I can sleep for 15 more minutes!"
Have to get the bathroom clean as I have company coming for tea this afternoon
ReplyDeleteCan I come over? To drink tea, not to clean the bathroom :)
DeleteMy husband left at 5:30am for a business trip. I must of glossed over my alarm. When I woke up it was 7:20! We leave for school at 7:30.
ReplyDeleteMy first though sheer panic! But, we made it on time, God's grace for the day.
I hate waking up like that! Glad you made it in time!
DeleteI have to go over my material for class tonight and I don't want to go to work. LOL
ReplyDeleteFunny how we're always thinking about things we need to get done. I wonder if it's a female thing or if guys are the same.
DeleteI hope I don't lose my voice from my chest cold!
ReplyDeleteI think it's from breathing recycled hotel air from conference. Sounds like a lot of us have been sick. Feel better soon!
DeleteI love my hubby...
ReplyDeleteAwww. That's my favorite one so far!
DeleteHow my kids will be home for school b/c my town takes off for Yom Kippur.
ReplyDelete~ Wendy
I wish my work took off for Yom Kippur. :)
Delete"I really don't want to get up to go running."
ReplyDeleteDid you go? Runners impress me. I've never done anything more than a 5k. My crazy husband runs marathons.

DeleteI thought about my first appointment today which happened to be at 8AM. I am a 9:00 girl, so 8am are tough and cut into my normal routine!
ReplyDeleteMy little boy would never let me be a 9am girl, but it would be nice!
Deletethat perhaps I wasn't quite caught up on my sleep from the weekend's deprivation.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel!
DeleteI wish I could say it was something deep and spiritual, but my only thought was of slapping the snooze button. :)

ReplyDeleteFirst thought...Why haven't I changed my schedule so I don't have to get up so early?
ReplyDeleteThat I only had one more morning this week to get up at this ungodly hour...(430AM)

ReplyDeleteGoing back to sleep. Sad, but true! :-)
