November

I know November is a busy month for a lot of you. So tell me -- What are your plans and goals for the month of November?

  1. Write 30K more, oh, why not? :D

Buy Christmas gifts for my husband's family before we see them over Thanksgiving.

Right now smile b/c it's sunny and it so wasn't supposed to be today! :)

  2. I have a zillion small goals, and a couple of big ones. I'd like to get 40-50K written on this new WIP, and I'm hosting Thanksgiving here for part of the Vetsch Clan.

    1. You're brave. I've hosted Thanksgiving once. No one has asked me to do it again. Somehow we ended up without a turkey...it's a long story :p

  3. My goal is to finish my wip (first draft). I've got about 40K-45K left. But we just found out my dog has parvo, and that has distracted me from my goals a bit. :(

  4. November might turn out to be my busiest month of the year--and believe me, topping July is no easy feat. In addition to NANO, I need to start promotional stuff for my book, have 3 trips planned and a few family birthdays.

  5. I need to finish writing my current novel. I'm about a third of the way in, so I'll be hibernating for a few weeks while I finish. I will also have to eventually do rewrites/edits on my first novel at some point. :)

Also, my goal is simply to be thankful, to enjoy life, to purge complaining from my life. :)

  7. I will be wrapping up a short story and submitting it to magazines. No Nano for me, but I'm cheering on those that will participate!

  8. Write, write, write. :) Though I'm not doing Nano - just working at my own slow pace.

    1. November seems to have turned into a big writing month for a lot of people - even those of us who aren't actually participating in NaNoWriMo this year.

  10. I'll be participating in NaNoJouMo. Like the NaNoWriMo, JouMo is creating a journal page each day in November.

  13. To survive, LOL! I have a busy month of birthdays and holiday travels, but in the midst of all that, I'd love to get my next book idea plotted out...or at least started. :)

  15. To finish the next round of edits on my completed manuscript and do another 5,000 on the new one. Also need to market my new nonfiction book. AGH! Love this time of year!
